A Case Against Shah Ruk Khan

A complaint has been lodged against Superstar Shah Ruk Khan, his wife Gauri and others under the act of Pre-conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of sex selection) in a magistrate's court regarding the birth of child (AbRam) through surrogacy to the Celeb couple.

Varsha Deshpandey, a lawyer from Mumbai, alleged in her petition that the child's death had been determined before the birth, hence violating the sections of the Act.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Uday Padwad has fixed the matter for hearing on September 12. Meanwhile, the court has issued notices to SRk, Gauri, civic health officials and other respondents.

The lawyer had earlier made a complaint against the star with health department of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). And civic officials have made a formal visit to the actor's house on June 17 but "didn't take any action against the star" as he had rubbished the allegations. Now, in her latest complaint the lawyer alleged that "the officials had failed to take action on the celeb couple".

SRK is yet to make his comment on the fresh legal complaint.
